Background

PPP South Africa was established in February 2023 with the objective of leveraging South Africa’s position as one of the world’s leading exporters of chrome ore. In line with this vision, PPP South Africa commissioned its first Chrome Ore Beneficiation Plant in May 2026, with an installed processing capacity of 10, 000 MT per month. The plant has been strategically designed to accommodate future expansion, allowing production capacity to increase 30,000 MT per month as market demand grows.

To become a leading and trusted supplier of high-quality chrome concentrates through operational excellence, sustainable practices, and long-term partnerships with customers worldwide.

PPP South Africa primarily targets the Chinese market, which remains the largest consumer of chrome ore and chrome concentrates. In addition, the company exports to customers in Oman and India, ensuring a diversified and sustainable market presence.

Technology and Operations

The beneficiation plant has been specifically designed to process Run-of-Mine (ROM) chrome ore sourced from the Rustenburg region and surrounding areas. Carefully selected combination of South African and Chinese equipmenthas been incorporated to achieve optimal recovery and operational efficiency.
